Privacy Policy
Overview
PairJoy is designed to be private and lightweight. The app does not require a PairJoy account and does not operate a PairJoy backend service for relationship profiles.
Information you enter
You may enter relationship details such as names, important dates, countdown events, emoji, widget preferences, and optional location/distance information. This information is used to show the app and widgets you configure.
PairJoy stores this information locally on your device and, when enabled by Apple platform features, through iCloud or App Group storage so the main app and widgets can share the information. PairJoy does not sell this information.
Purchases and subscriptions
PairJoy may offer subscriptions or in-app purchases through Apple’s App Store. Purchase processing is handled by Apple. PairJoy uses RevenueCat to manage subscription status, entitlements, receipts, and purchase/restore behavior. RevenueCat may receive purchase-related identifiers and receipt information needed to provide this service.
Privacy-conscious product analytics
The PairJoy website does not use advertising trackers. The PairJoy app uses OpenPanel to understand a small set of anonymous product events, such as app opens, onboarding progress, widget-editor saves, and purchase or restore outcomes. Analytics can include an anonymous installation identifier, app version, build number, platform, and coarse choices such as an onboarding goal or a bucketed countdown count.
PairJoy does not send names, cities, dates, countdown titles, exact distances, relationship details, Apple IDs, or payment information to OpenPanel. Automatic tracking is disabled. You can open Privacy from any app screen and turn product analytics off at any time. We do not sell analytics or relationship information or use it for advertising.
Apple services
If you use iCloud, widgets, App Groups, App Store purchases, or other Apple features, Apple’s own terms and privacy practices apply to those services.
